He devoted 17 years to the Detroit Area Big Brothers/Big Sisters, mentoring his “little” from childhood through graduation at Michigan State University, even funding his college education. He also serves on the Board of the Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club, supporting youth development in the Lake Oconee area.
